Amery, Hii & Tong Pty. Ltd., the former name of Professional Mortgage Partners Pty. Ltd., was established in late 2001 by the then principals James Tong & Jonathan Hii in response to a maturing property finance market. The view of the principals is that the rapid growth of the mortgage broking industry in the middle market for home mortgages presents an opportunity for a new practice to succeed focussed on the higher end of the residential property market and the commercial property investment market.

Current residential loan portfolio exceeds $350M which has been achieved in the last 36 months. The name change from Amery, Hii & Tong to Professional Mortgage Partners is a direct result of the new direction which the company has embarked upon, i.e. Mortgage Aggregation. The company believes a significant opportunity exists for a locally based mortgage aggregator who can deliver the daily person-to person business support and service offerings that seem to be lacking with the remote national groups.
